noon-9 pm. This year the festival will feature two entertainment venues for your listening pleasure. Brendan's Pavilion will be the main stage, and The Highland stage will be the large tent adjacent to the Vendor area. Each performer will be scheduled to entertain at each location, and there will be continuous entertainment at all times.
The Highland Stage will again feature a Traditional "Irish Seisún" as the final musical act for this stage. "Irish Seisún's" are gatherings of musicians playing the traditional music passed down through generations, and are prevalent to many Pubs in the towns of Western Ireland. Festivals always attract musicians who love to play this lively music, and so we invite any traditional musicians who play in sessions around the area to join our core group of local musicians for an enjoyable evening of lively music and good friendship.
Bring: Lawn Chairs (to watch the entertainment, the pavilion gets crowded early), Kids (it's a family event with entertainment and stands for children too); Strollers; Umbrellas (only hand-held ones-no huge ones); Money( There are no ATM's located on grounds – most vendors accept credit cards). Please do not bring pets (except service animals), coolers, large umbrellas, tents or canopies.
St. Benedicts Picnic Grove has ample free parking for approximately 300 vehicles surrounding the grounds. Limited Handicapped parking is also available.
Once again we will offer the free Oysterfest Shuttle from a parking area outside of St. Benedict's Grove. The shuttle parking lot will be located on Route 10 about 1.5 miles from the Morgantown Interchange of the Turnpike, and about 3 miles south of the Festival Site. (a map is available on the official website). Signs will be posted at the entrance of the Shuttle Lot and there will be parking police on site during the day to maintain traffic flow and oversee the lot and the vehicles parked there.
